Quiet company

Moss Rock Retreat is home to a friendly flock of chickens and our “supervisor” cat. Many wild animals regularly visit the garden, including song birds, humming birds, rabbits, deer, raccoon, frogs, coyote, owls, hawks, an occasional bald eagle, and a family of crows. Blue heron, geese, and ducks migrate through in the spring and fall. The garden, with its many Pacific Northwest native plantings, also hosts beautiful pollinators.
