Seasonal Residencies

Moss Rock Retreat offers a 5-night residency each season. Residents choose their dates of stay based on availability of the tiny house during the three month window of their seasonal residency.

Residencies include lodging at the tiny house. The tiny house is supplied with everything you might find in a well-stocked Airbnb: linens, paper products, soaps, cooking basics, and coffee/tea. Residents provide their own meals. Check-in is at 3pm on the first day, check out is at 12pm on the last day.

To apply for a residency, please (1) complete the form below and (2) submit the non-refundable $25 application fee.

In the body of your message, please include:

• the seasonal residency for which you are applying (Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall)
• a short writing sample (10 pages maximum)
• a brief description of the project you anticipate working on while at Moss Rock
• a link to your webpage or social media, if available

Things to know before you apply for a Seasonal Residency:

• Moss Rock Retreat Seasonal Residencies are single occupancy.
• Check-in is at 3pm, check-out is at 12pm.
• The sleeping loft at Moss Rock Retreat is only accessible by stairs that are steep, narrow, and have no handrail. Please only apply for a residency if you are comfortable navigating these stairs.
• We ask that our guests not smoke inside the tiny house or out in the garden at Moss Rock Retreat. We value our clean air, and hope our guests will, too!
• We are not able to accommodate pets or service animals.
